Kalbar Show to return for 89th year

KALBAR will celebrate its 89th annual show with crowd favourites all families can enjoy.

The event will be held on June 22 and 23 from 10am at Kalbar Showgrounds.

Farm produce, horticulture, art judging and the dog show will return on Friday while poultry and beef judging, the horse show and Ute Muster will entertain guests on Saturday.

Visitors can enjoy face painting, games and rides such as a merry-go-round and dodgem cars.

Entertainment will include a clown and magician, country music singers and pig races.

Food and drink stalls will also be available.

Fireworks, an extreme motocross event and hay stacking and lumberjack competitions will be on Saturday night.

Entry costs $5 for adults, $4 for concession, $2.50 for high school students and primary school children are free on Friday.

On Saturday tickets will be double the price at $10, $8 and $5.
