Kooralbyn man up on drug charges

A 48-YEAR-OLD Kooralbyn man was arrested for drug offences early on Wednesday morning.

Senior Sergeant Grant Ralston said the arrest came after police were called to a disturbance in Routley Drive.

He said police would allege in court they found 35 hydroponic plants and other drug items in a room.

The arrest was made by detectives from Logan District child protection and investigation unit.

The man has been charged with producing and possessing a dangerous drug, possession of instructions for cultivating a dangerous drug and possession of things used in connection with a dangerous drug.

He is to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 17.
