Emergency service crews have left the scene of a chemical spill earlier today at a Palen Creek property.
A QFES spokesperson said fire crews had washed the area down before declaring it safe and free of contaminants.
An estimated 150 litres of hydrogen peroxide were spilled in the leak.
NINE fire and emergency crews have been called to a Palen Creek property in response to a chemical leak.
A QFES spokesperson said there had been a leakage of hydrogen peroxide at the property.
“The leak has been contained and a scientific unit is there with testing equipment,” she said.
“It will take some time but crews are now making a forward plan to make sure the area is safe.”
A Queensland Ambulance service spokesperson said a unit was on standby at the scene but there were no casualties reported.
