A BEAUDESERT man has had his vehicle stolen by a man armed with a knife at Regents Park on Mount Lindesay Highway, police will allege.
Police said the 25-year-old was filling his grey 2006 Toyota Hilux dual cab utility at a service station at 10.50pm on February 9 when the man demanded his car keys and fled in the vehicle.
The Hilux was allegedly linked to several stealing and dangerous driving offences on Brisbane’s south within two days, including a steel rod being thrown at another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
Police found the Hilux on Clear Mountain Road at Clear Mountain and dog squad officers arrested three men nearby.
A 25-year-old Springfield Lakes man has been charged with armed robbery, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and two counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
A 20-year-old Regents Park man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A second Regents Park man, aged 27, was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, robbery with actual violence, two counts of stealing, one count of dangerous operaion of a vehicle, wilful damage, fraud and driving without a license.
All three men are appeared in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on February 12 and their matters were adjourned until February 20.
The 25-year-old and 27-year-old were remanded in custody until their court appearances.
