GUESTS can put their feet up and relax while children can roam free with plenty of activities in store at the Community Christmas Fair.
The event will be held from 2pm to 7.30pm on December 9 at Ivory’s Rock Convention Centre at Peak Crossing.
There will be rides, a water slide, pony rides, archery for children, face painting and fireworks.
Entertainment will include live music and a visit from Santa.
Markets stalls will sell items such as specialty teas, handmade crafts, camel milk, cheeses, salt lamps and fudge.
Food vendors and a licensed bar will be available.
Organiser Joy Winnel said was a favourite for families in the area to enjoy.
“There will be so many activities and choices for children and parents can have a picnic and relax while listening to live music,” she said.
“Fireworks is always a popular event on the day.”
Ms Winnel said she expected a big turnout and saw the fair was growing every year.
“We are on the fringe of Boonah and Ipswich and most people have to go to those locations to go to a good festival,” she said.
“This is why the Community Christmas Fair is great for locals and it’s always good fun for the children.”
