The gallery walk park at Mount Tamborine has received a prestigious award with the Queensland landscape industry which celebrated the best of the best in landscape construction early last month at the Brisbane Hilton.
The project won in the commercial 3 category projects for $250,001 to $500,000.
The Queensland Landscape Construction of the Year was awarded for both the residential and commercial segments of the industry. The event was attended by the Minister for Housing and Public Works and Sport the Honourable Mick de Brenni and about 450 guests from the landscape design and construction industry.
The evening was hosted by Terry Hansen from Brisbane radio station 97.7FM and featured comedy ventriloquist Darren Carr.
Landscape Queensland CEO, Mark Sorby, said this year’s awards again showcased the high skill levels and professionalism of the landscape industry. He also said that he was pleased to see entries submitted from throughout the state confirming the overall health of the industry in Queensland.
