For the first time in the series, organisers introduced the use of a bowlers arm during the games for those who needed assistance of the artificial device to compete.
Beaudesert Bowls Club board secretary Peter Bryan said he was thrilled to see almost 100 players on the green.
“It was great to see two full greens which is exciting for the club and it really puts us on the map,” he said.
Mr Bryan said Beaudesert club members felt privileged to have held the annual event as it was the first time the Quad Series had come to town.
“Coming from the feedback from people, everyone enjoyed the greens, the company and the food – they had a great time,” he said. “We had guests from Bowls Australia and some young fellows in the under 25 development quad from Bowls Queensland.”
