MORE than 160 artists opened pop-up galleries in Beaudesert on the weekend to express their creativity during the Scenic Rims Open Studios exhibit.
There were displays at several venues along Brisbane Street, with visitors able to walk from the Beaudesert Arts and Information Centre to the Beaudesert Historical Museum Arts Collective to experience the exhibition.
Guests were also welcomed into artist Christine Purtle’s Gleneagle workspace for the first time as she showcased her paintings and drawings.
Artwork, including ceramics, photography and handcrafts were displayed by The Lyrebird Gallery Art Collective, QCWA Beaudesert Handmade Arts Collective and Beaudesert’s Camera Club's Exposure Unlimited Arts Collective.
At the Beaudesert Library, Kim Brolga Williams showcased her weavings and artworks, including painting, printmaking and basket weaving.
