Two calves missing from Mt Barney

POLICE are seeking help from the public after two calves went missing at Barney View.

Detectives from the Forest Hill Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad are searching for two Santa Gertrudis cows crossed by a Limousin bull.

The calves, that were four weeks old when they went missing, were described as being red in colour while one has distinctive white face markings.

Police said they believe the animals were taken from a Mt Barney Road property sometime between December 2016 and the start of January 2017.
