The Ramada Resort Kooralbyn has lost its latest general manager with the sudden departure of Mark Fletcher, who only took up the position in September.
Resort owner Peter Huang said the manager’s departure was due to unforeseen circumstances which meant that Mr Fletcher had no choice other than to leave his job.
“It was with regret we recently accepted Mark Fletcher’s resignation as resort manager due to serious health issues concerning his family,” he said.
“Mark needed to be with his loved ones and be close by to medical facilities not immediately available in the Kooralbyn area.
“We have appointed a new resort manager who is scheduled to start from Monday November 20.
“In the meantime, I am basing myself at the resort and working closely with the management team to enure it is business as usual.
Mr Huang said the resort is excited about the upcoming concert featuring Frankie J Holden, Wilbur Wild and Denise Drysdale.
“This will be a great event for families, being so close to Christmas,” he said.
“The golf course is in brilliant shape and our new head chef and his team are producing top quality food in Lilies Restaurant and Bar.”
