TOMMERUP’S Dairy Farm has partnered with Wild Canary Bistro to host a long table lunch in the Lost World Valley.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 10am to 4pm on 2142 Kerry Rd at Kerry.
Executive chef Glen Barratt and the Wild Canary Bistro team will serve guests morning tea and a four-course lunch to give them a taste of Scenic Rim produce with a paddock to plate experience.
The courses will include produce from Summer Land Camel Farm, Peak Veggie Patch, Ayton Farm and The Lime Caviar Company.
The food will be paired with wines from O’Reilly’s vineyard and beers from Scenic Rim Brewery.

The menu will also feature Tommerup’s Dairy Farm’s pasture raised veal and a black heritage breed pork.
There will be a farm tour led by Tommerup’s Dairy Farm owners Kay and Dave and a mini producers market featuring several Scenic Rim farmers who will showcase their food.
Kay Tommerup said she was eager to host their long table lunch with Wild Canary.
“We’ve known them for a little while and we have held producers’ lunches during Eat Local Week with them,” she said.
“The last time they came to our farm was in May and we were discussing the possibility of doing it again.
“So now we are ready to give it a go and hold an event at the farm so we are.”
Ms Tommerup said there would be several Scenic Rim producers involved in the day from the food that used for the dishes to the market stalls available.
“It is very much a Scenic Rim event – working with other producers and promoting their produce as much as us and our farm,” she said.
