SIX people were arrested and two people were reported injured after a fight broke out at a licensed venue after Rathy Rodeo.
Police said as the venue’s entertainer made requests for the last song played on Sunday morning, a disturbance broke out among some of the patrons.
Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the scene about 12.40am to treat two people on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Rathdowney.
One patient with face lacerations was assessed by QAS officers but did not require transportation.
The other person left the venue before QAS arrived.
Police said proceedings had begun, with numerous charges against six people, including public nuisance and obstruct police.
The people charged are a 36-year-old Jondaryan woman, a 21-year-old Kooralbyn woman, a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from Yarrabilba, a 21-year-old Rathdowney woman and a 23-year-old Millmerran man.
Despite the brawl, police praised Rathy Rodeo organisers, security and community for their conduct during the event.
Rathdowney police said the rodeo ran smoothly, with only minor issues, such as underage drinking.
Three youths were charged for the offence of consuming and possessing liquor in a public place.
Police said they thanked the general public for their conduct and their patience on the roads as they travelled to the event.
