Robotics and science on show at Beaudesert Library’s event

RESIDENTS were challenged with science activities at Beaudesert Library’s Brain Break Morning Tea.

From marshmallow engineering to learning robotics, guests took part in various activities on Friday, August 11.

Laravale resident Cheryl Folley said the event, celebrating National Science Week, kept seniors’ brains stimulated while having plenty of fun.

“This was my first introduction to a robot at close quarters,” she said.

“No wonder children are so enthralled in it.”
