Three men have been injured in a single vehicle crash on the Mount Lindesay Highway, Veresdale.

The car burst into flames after it left the highway and hit a power pole on Caswell Road.

Residents observing at the scene said two passers-by dragged the three men out of the vehicle shortly after 5pm on July 13.

Queensland Ambulance Service transported the three men in stable conditions to Logan Hospital.

One man was suffering a fractured ankle, one had a fractured arm and the other was suffering a cut to the head.

One rural fire service crew and two urban fire crews had the fire extinguished by 5.35pm.

Police said the car was being driven by a learner driver and investigations were continuing.

The power pole is set to be replaced due to severe damage.
