A PERFORMANCE professional will show guests there is more to staging a successful performance than combining talent and a venue at his Stagecraft Workshop this month.

Jimmy Keane’s talk will focus on stagecraft for small halls and other small spaces and will prepare people, including performers who will be in the Caberet Showcase in August.

Mr Keane will show guests how sound, lighting, lighting plots, props, stage and safety management are just as important as the performers and their talent.

The event will be held at the Zamia Theatre on Tamborine Mountain on Saturday, June 24 from 1pm.

It costs $20 and is suitable for anyone over 14 years.

To book, call The Centre Beaudesert on 55405050.
