Large panel of buyers in attendance

Livestock agent Hayes and Company had a top-quality yarding of 649 head which came to hand this week with a large panel of buyers travelling from as far away Roma, Dalby, Millmerran and Goondiwindi. 

The solid attendance figures resulted in all types selling to a very strong market.  

Some highlights of the sale included BP Dobeli sold charbray cows for 255c/kg to return a solid $1,887.  

DDP Building were able to sell droughtmaster cows for 248.2c/kg to return a hefty $1,638. 

B,R,H and K Lehmann sold fresian dairy culls for 219.2c/kg to return $1,321. 

G and N Lucas sold a charolais meat works bull for 259.2c/kg to return $2,242.          

R and SF Stephan sold droughtmaster pasture ox for 296.2c/kg to return $1,629. 

LJ and S Reinke sold lines of santa feeder steers for 334.2c/kg to return $1,415. 

G Kelly sold charbray feeder steers for 334.2c/kg to return $1,310.

DC Harsant sold lines of black limo heifers for 319.2c/kg to return $1,097. 

Milora Agriculture sold greyman vealer steers for 345.2c/kg to return $739. 

J and T Bell sold limo vealer heifers for 326.2c/kg to return $831. 

Dayboro Pastoral sold a line of droughtmaster restocker steers for 343.2c/kg to return $995. 

P and FA Buhle sold lines of charbray restocker steers for 333.2c/kg to return $1,095. 

Peter Buhle also sold droughtmaster steers straight off the cows for 328.2c/kg to return $1,257. 

J McDonald sold lines of light Hereford restocker steers for 360c/kg to return $718. 

Walther and Green sold red brahman cows and calves for $1,750.
