ACHOIRED Taste will be singing and perfecting their skills at a choral workshop this weekend.
Musical talent Astrid Jorgensen will lead the workshop at The Centre Beaudesert on Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am.
AChoired Taste secretary Philippa Westerman said the annual event was a great way to meet other singers within the community and improve the choir’s talent.
“The event is a very good way to have somebody else beside our normal choir leaderto learn from,” she said.
Ms Westerman said the choir was happy to welcome the experienced conductor and performer Ms Jorgenson.
“Special guests usually bring new songs and new strategies for singing,” she said.
Ms Westerman said the group was looking forward to the annual workshop and hoped to see new people come along.
“Everyone can arrive on the day and I guarantee they will enjoy themselves thoroughly and will be encouraged to sing on a regular basis,” she said.
The two-day workshop costs $50, including morning tea and lunch and is suitable for people aged 18 years and over.
