ARCHERY and jousting will be on display at the Medieval Showtime on Tamborine Mountain this weekend.
The one-day event will be held on March 18 from 10am at the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds.
Guests will enjoy a medieval pet parade, a vintage car display and archery lessons.
Jousting demonstrations and displays, including a chicken and pavilion display, will also be on offer.
The Tamborine Show Society will also be on the look out for the best dressed medieval costume.
Tamborine Mountain Society secretary Amanda Thorley said it was important to maintain the show’s traditions but to also introduce new installations to the annual event.
“We chose to have a medieval theme as a point of interest and to make our show different from the rest,” she said.
“The Knights of Camelot will be demonstrating jousting, horseback archery and sword fighting.”
The Medieval Showtime is expected to bring about 2500 people to the mountain.
