Chaz’s new livery unveiled at SCT

V8 Supercar driver and former Beaudesert High student Chaz Mostert has launched his 2017 car with a daring video filmed at SCT’s Bromelton facility.

The video shows Mostert and a crew of troops entering the recently launched rail hub facility in an attempt to rescue enduro co-driver Russell Ingall.

As they escape in Mostert’s 2017-spec Supercheap Auto Racing Ford, the SCT warehouse they escape from ‘blows up’ with some help from computer generated imagery.

The 2014 Bathurst 1000 winner said he had an absolute ball filming the reveal for the new livery.

"We want to come out firing at the first event like we've just broken out of jail and that's pretty much what the video was about so it fits with our mission for this season perfectly,” Mostert said.

"Supercheap Auto doesn't do things by halves and our season is going to be exactly the same.

“I'm super pumped to have them on board again, they're a fantastic team to work with and to have the continued support of some of our other sponsors is great as well we can't do this without them."

The 2017 Supercar season kicks off on the streets of Adelaide this weekend with the Clipsal 500.
