Plan gets mixed reception

Support group spokeswoman Janette Tomkins said there was much support for the project but not all residents were in favour of the trail, which would provide 60 kilometres of recreation track along the disused Beaudesert to Bethania railway.Logan City division nine councillor Phil Pidgeon said trail bike riders were already an issue along the rail line and creating the trail could worsen the problem. |
